Sigh ...I don't know what went wrong .. but for some reason I could load Larksville .. but if I clicked on any house .. the game crashed.
So .. I had to start over ... 
While it is fun to see Frysland and Tripsy as todddlers again (at least reinstalling the neighborhood worked!) .. but darn!!!!! .. I had gotten to the point where I had Fury married and a son born ..
Anyone want to join in my pity party?

I'm so sorry you had to start over.
This hood is a lot more than I usually ask my computer to handle, but so far so good (fingers crossed).
I thought mine was going to crash last night too, but all it did was minimize for a while so it could enlarge the page file (virtual memory overload). Whew.
But on the other hand, congratulations for getting that far. I'm at the same point. Fury married Maisy the social worker and they had twin girls, who are toddlers right now.

I have problems now and then with my game .. many times it will crash after I save and exit.
I read today on a post somewhere at either N99 or MATY that it is best to save and exit to the main Neighborhood, then exit the game from there.
I usually save, and exit the game from the household .. and have had it crash at times. The problem might have arose there .. something about a bad save/exit. Not sure .. but from now on I'll save the house, the go the the main neighborhood screen to exit the game.
One good thing, lol, about starting over and knowing a few things before hand ... before Lark's dad paid a visit I had Fury buy up a bunch of really expensive items and stash them in his inventory .. they only lost a few simoleons ...
