After Lark grew up he left the orphanage. He has a mission to save his little brother and sister form the de-mustachioed man.

Lark arrives at the Sinister house. He's going to confront the man who is holding his sister.



Lark: You Scoundrel! You've kidnapped my sister! You beast! Your moustache, it's back!

Mr Sinister: Yes, I have my moustache back. Your sister told me it would grow back if I talked to it in the mirror, but that was just lies! She just wanted to distract me so she could sneek out into the garden and build her infernal machine!

Mr Sinister: But that didn't work, I found out her evil plan and stopped her in time!



While Mr Sinister is distracted by his argument with Lark, Holly slips out to finish her machine.

Merry Christmas!  Santa brought me the M&G pack, so all is well.

Meanwhile Lark and the man posing as his father continue to argue.



Lark: You evil impostor! I'm going to smack that moustache right off your face!



Just at that moment a bolt of lightning hits Mr Sinister, killing him stone dead. After an initial investigation charges against Lark where dropped, after all lightning is an act of god.

I have been using simpe to rebuild the orphans family trees. It turns out Mr Sinister was Larks father after all (at least in my game).

However I was horrified when I looked at his family tree.



I have Apartment Life, which updates each characters thumbnail whenever they change clothes. Mr Sinisters thumbnail reset after he was struck by lightning. He shows on the family tree black and burnt. When people gossip about him they remember him in his burnt state. It's all very disturbing.

Yes, Virgule is supposed to be Lark's father.  I probably should say I did the family tree wrong on purpose, as a mystery!  But the truth is I had to edit and re-edit relationships, and the trees got messed up.

How did you get the family tree to work properly?  I don't know how to do that with SimPe.

Oh, If you've used Simpe before then editing the family trees is easy.

Edit: I've made a better tutorial in a new thread. I think it makes more sense than what I had wriiten here. It covers a couple of things I had forgotten.

Poor Virgule.  Poor Virgule?   He wasn't really a kidnapper.  But he was sinister, after all, so it's his own fault.

It cracks me up that he is still charred in his family tree pic.

Man, there is really a zip epidemic going around in Larksville.  All the teens in my Larksville have massive breakouts too.  It rarely happenis in my other neighborhoods.  I guess it's all that stress from gender confusion, parental identification confusion, and general all around confusion.

Back at the school of Perfection, Fury is now grown up and looking for a real family of his own. Fury starts looking for a wife...



...and finds one in the back garden. Didn't I say Fury would find a use for one of the gravestones later.

Those are very sinister photos.  They seem very appropriate for KaNita.  Does raising the dead change their personality?  I can't remember.  If not, Fury and KaNita should be an interesting match - they're both so mean!  I have a real weakness for mean sims.

Edited to add - I'm posting for people to send me their Larksville offspring.  Don't worry, you still have plenty of time.  (Assuming you plan to send yours in.)  I don't want you to rush your game and not enjoy it.

The first time I played the neighborhood I resurrected KaNita and it was Tripsie who had the hots for her.

The second time (my current) .. I waited until after I completed the quest to try and resurrect her. I only had 4 sims on the School of Perfection lot, so plenty of room for her in their house.  And I got the message that no one has died on this lot! Well ... strange as there were 3 gravestones in the back yard. Hmmm.

So then I went to the Girls School and tried to resurrect her there and got the message she died on another lot. And I looked at the screen and thought .. duh! .. but can someone tell Death that? .. lol ...

The happy couple. Lark and Kanita belong together, they even share a passion for bow ties.



Kanita didn't get through the resurrection unchanged. Lark paid just enough to ensure Kanita didn't come back as a rotting corpse, but not enough to keep her mind intact.



Meanwhile Goopy fails to grow out of his teenaged infatuation with aliens. It is an obsession which is going to get him in trouble.



This picture was taken at night and the image was very dark. I turned it into back and white to make the image clearer, or more Hammer House of Horrors, your choice.
