Is there a setting that will make it so I am taken automaticically back out to the forum after making a post.  Clicking several times to back out after posting is kind of starting to bug me.

No, you didn't sound rude.  Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to your question.  I just click on the title bar thingie - don't know what it's called.  I click where it says "larksville.myfreeforum.org Forum Index" and that takes me back to the main area.
