I've been editing the family trees of my orphans when they found out who their relatives where. Here is a quick tutorial of how to do that.
1. Open your neibourhood, choose family ties in the resource menu (upper left). select 'Family Ties' in the resource list box (upper right).
2. Then in the plugin menu (bottom left box) there's a drop down menu choose which household you want to edit. If all the sims you want to edit live in the same household use the pulldown menu in the bottom left box to select that household. If they live in seperate households you must select 'All Households'.
3. Left click on your target sim, in this case Brandi Brooke. Your sim will now be highlighted in blue. Their tree will now appear in the box to the right.
4. Right click on a portrait in the right hand box and select 'add'. In this case it said 'Add Bigfoot Bigfoot'. Their portait will now join the bottom right box.
5. Using the pulldown menu at the bottom of the bottom right box marked 'Relation' and choose the relationship you would like your sims to have.
6. Press commit and Save.

Thanks for this! I can flag them as related, but I didn't know how to edit the family tree.
